Utilizing aircraft grade aluminum cores in a flexible wing design and fastened with self-tapping corrosion resistant bolts. PrimeDrive is the most unique lagging offering in years. It completely eliminates the grinding and cutting required to remove lagging that has corroded after months of use. It can be easily fastened with a pneumatic drill and socket driver, avoiding the use of burn permits and the risk of fire or explosion. Change-outs can be accomplished in 2-3 hours because the hole pattern already exists!

Performance

PrimeDrive represents performance increases of 200 to 300% in wear life over Slide Lagg™ because the rubber compound has a high percentage of natural rubber. PrimeDrive provides superior traction, not only because of the natural rubber but because there are no gaps in the lagging. There is at least 6% more lagging in contact with the belt at all times. Without gaps between the strips there are also no flat spots which can lead to chattering when using high tension belt cleaners.

Compatibility

PrimeDrive can be used on 0" to 72" diameter and on any face width, therefore a few pieces will cover all the pulleys you have in your operation. There is no need to inventory numerous pieces with varying radius. With a chop saw, T-square and drill you have all the equipment necessary to eliminate that old rusted-on lagging.
