Pro Series Frame Style Press

Pro Series Vulcanizer

Summary

The Shaw Almex Pro Series is a solid aluminum frame style vulcanizing press that allows for quick and easy operation. With end handles and positioning rings (for larger models), the Pro Series is easy to maneuver into the desired splice position. Each Pro Series boasts the following superior Almex technology:

  • Signature Almex "Pressure Bag" uniform pressure system
  • Custom "Extruded Plank" cooling system within platens
  • Innovative "Silicon Element" fast heating system
  • Upper and Lower aluminum frames
  • An Almex T-Series control panel for managing temperature/time
  • Almex hand or electric air pump for pressure applications

Specifications

PLATEN: Utilizes innovative Almex flexible platen constructed from extruded plank, silicon heating element and durable composite insulation. Each platen contours to the belt's irregularities, ensuring uniform results.

FRAME: Two light and rugged aluminum frames comprise upper and lower portions of press. Ends equipped with carrying handles on smaller models; sides also equipped with handles on larger models.

CONTROL PANEL: T1F and T2 can accommodate 230 volts, with the T1F being inset and the T2 remote. T3 offered for higher voltages and remote operation. T2 and T3 panels feature Dual Omron temperature control and indication systems and are housed in rugged aluminum box with handle and cover.

PRESSURE/COOLING: Patented Almex pressure bag ensures uniform pressure across splice surface. Presses available for two pressure thresholds; Pro Series 60 maximum pressure of 4kg/cm2, Pro Series 100 maximum pressure of 7 kg/cm2. Quick cooling by channeling water through extruded platen.
